【IKIMONOGAKARI①】Mr YAMASHITA, Thank You for 22 Years of Impressions!

On 2 June 2021, it was announced that Hotaka YAMASHITA of the music band IKIMONOGAKARI will be leaving the group at the end of July.

IKIMONOGAKARI with three members: 3 November 1999 - 31 July 2021 including periods of inactivity.

I originally started listening to the music of IKIMONOGAKARI because of my respect for Yoshiki MIZUNO, the leader of the band, but now I have come to respect the group itself. The music created by vocalists Kiyoe YOSHIOKA, Mizuno and Yamashita has its own charm, but especially Yamashita's music is not for everyone, but rather for a specific individual or a specific situation. Mizuno's music has always been very stable, while Yamashita's music has made a different impression on me as I've gotten older. Each of Yamashita's works is an important song that helps me at that moment or reminds me of the past. I would like to list some of these important songs for me. Out of respect, I write them in their original versions.
