【Ukraine①】Emergency Donation

On 28 February 2022, I donated 10,000 yen to the Japan Committee for UNICEF for children and their families in Ukraine who are suffering due to the war with Russia.

On 24 February 2022 (JST), Russia launched a military invasion of Ukraine. As a result, there has been an endless number of civilian casualties in Ukraine as well as military casualties in both Ukraine and Russia. I felt that our free and peaceful life until a few days ago could easily be taken away from us. I am keenly aware of the preciousness of freedom and peace, and the gratitude for ordinary everyday life. The only thing I could do was to make a donation. The amount I could spend was tiny. However, I hope that the donations and demonstrations around the world will lead the current situation in a better direction.
