【TRI②】Conference Participation Report

On 24 October 2024, I attended the 1st Asia & Pacific Bioinformatics Joint Conference (APBJC 2024) in the field of bioinformatics and presented a poster. Since the conference was held in Okinawa, Japan's southernmost island, I was also able to enjoy the local atmosphere.

This was my second time attending an international conference, but my first time participating as a presenter. At the last year’s international conference, ISMB/ECCB 2023, a researcher from Finland of the same young generation mentioned that she would like to hear my presentation, but I hadn’t yet developed my research to a presentable level. It took over a year, but I’m glad I finally reached the point where I could present. Moving forward, I aim to further develop my research.
